Max started going to Dogtrix when he was just over a year old. Like many other families, we were looking for a place where he could go and have fun, yet be well cared for. In all the years he has been going to Dogtrix, (Max is now 10) I have never had any concerns about the quality of care he received. All I have to say is "we’re here" and he’s "talking" with excitement. To me, that’s testimonial in and of itself. I love hearing how his day was when I pick him up. Often I hear how he has found a new girlfriend to play with. Picking up a happy and sometimes exhausted dog tells me he has had a great day. To Karen and the rest of her staff, thank you for caring for Max as if he was one of your own furry family members.

Abbey has been going to Dogtrix for 2 years now. She started when she turned 1 yr and it was the best decision I could have made for her. I had been looking for something to get Abbey involved in that would provide her socialization and exercise. I spent time looking into classes for dogs and into various doggie daycares. Being the protective mom that I am, it was important that Abbey was left in a safe environment, with people who truly care about the dogs and spend time with them. I found that at Dogtrix. I drive from Sherwood Park to drop Abbey off in the morning and then go back to Sherwood Park to work. The drive is well worth it because of Karen and her staff. They are absolutely wonderful and genuinely care about the dogs. They are all "dog people" and it is apparent when watching the dogs at drop–off and pick–up that they enjoy being there. Abbey’s demeanor on the mornings when we are going to "school" (as I call it) is excitement. All I have to do is start naming her dog friends or the ladies who look after her and the tail wagging and barking says it all. Finding Dogtrix was a blessing. Abbey is a very submissive girl, who gets intimidated easily; however, there is no hesitation when she arrives at Dogtrix. She is jumping out the car, before I get the car door open. Dogs are very smart and their behavior reflects how they are feeling. Abbey LOVES going to "school". Dogs that are left at home all day long get bored, destructive and become anti–social. Dogs who attend Dogtrix are social, happy and well taken care of. I would highly recommend Dogtrix to any dog owner.

Fisher is now 2 years old and has been going to Dogtrix since he was a pup. Every morning that he gets to go to daycare a definite change can be seen in him. His excitement grows the closer we get, he paces the back seat of my truck and only pauses every two steps to check to see if we are there yet. He is always so excited to see all of the Ladies at Daycare and when I come to pick him up in the evening he is always exhausted from all the playtime through out the day. There are days when I know that I may not have time to give him the proper exercise he needs and since he is a rather large dog Dogtrix has become a savior in my life! I can only imagine the disaster area my house might be in some days if we didn’t have Dogtrix. Recently I have had a few changes in my life and I thought that I may have to switch doggy daycares, but I have not been able to find another that could come close to level of care and attention that Dogtrix provides. Both Fisher and I adore all of the Ladies at Dogtrix and recommend the daycare to anyone that may want their services. Thank you ladies from both Fisher and myself, you make him so happy and make my life just that little bit easier!

Speck has been going to Dogtrix since he was 5 months old. I am truly blessed with Karen and staff for such a warm safe and fun environment for him. I’m sure if it were not for them I wouldn’t have any furniture or shoes in tacked. I remember the first time he went to (what we call school), he slept on the way home, I had to carry him out of the truck and when he got to the door he looked at the 18 stairs he had to climb and then looked at me as if to say "You’ve got to be kidding, do you know how hard I played today?" None the less I had to carry him up the stairs. He had a drink of water and passed out on the floor in the same spot until morning. Since then all I have to say is "Are you going to school today?" and his tail goes wild. He is never more excited about going anywhere but the park, except Doggy Daycare. I stronglgy recommend it to anyone that cares for their little person as much as we do to take them even for a day or a week to socialize and break up their routine.

I can’t say enough positives about Dogtrix Doggie Daycare! Charlie Brown has been going there for daytime care since he was a pup. The last three years have been a godsend for me. I work shift work, Dogtrix allows me sleep time on Nightshift and freedom from worry when I work Dayshift. I just wish they were open on weekends! Charlie Brown comes home tired and just wants to relax after a full day at daycare. My family and friends all comment on how much calmer he is after a day at Dogtrix, and that is just what I want to hear. Karen and the staff show their commitment to each dog and their patience with the "Moms & Dads" is really outstanding. I like the structured walks and the free playtime, the staff interaction, and the cleanliness of the facility. Great place for the dogs.

Paton has been attending Dogtrix for almost 2 years. When Paton first started attending Dogtrix she was shy, unsure and was in need of socialization to gain her confidence around other dogs and humans. After much searching, visiting facilities, we found Dogtrix, what a blessing!! We were impressed with the facility, location, and mostly the staff! The behavior of the dogs indicated this would be a safe, fun place to meet Paton’s needs! With the time that Paton has spent at Dogtrix, her personality and confidence have blossomed! She is now confident and sociable in many settings. When she returns from a full day at Dogtrix she is happy to have her supper and always sleeps well! If dogs could talk, Paton would recommend Dogtrix as a fun, safe place to spend the day and meet new friends!

Our black lab Rusi (2 years old) has been going to Dogtrix since he was 6 months old. Dogtrix has provided us with a safe and fun environment for us to leave Rusi in and the benefits of having a well socialized (he’s very behaved...we like to think) and exercised (especially on date night!) dog has made life with him great. Rusi thoroughly enjoys the morning and evening greetings from staff and of course receiving presents at Christmas and on his Birthday –it’s the little things that make a place feel right. I know he plays like crazy at daycare and enjoys the pool parties and daily walks. Rusi loves Dogtrix and so do we!
Our family would like to thank Dogtrix staff - you are all truly amazing. From the daily greetings to providing endless support with our "do you think that’s normal" questions - we appreciate and recognize the high quality of service that you provide. Trust me - we would have struggled immensely during the first year of "firsts" without you.

Lindsay Christensen (Rusi – Black Lab – 2 years old)

Dogtrix has been a part of our dog's routine for close to 5 years now and I can’t imagine their lives without it. Our boys come home played out at the end of the day and tired which is great for all of us. When we were having some behavioral issues with one of our dogs, Karen and her staff were very involved in his development and rectifying his behaviour before it became an out of control issue. They truly went above and beyond to help us and keep our boys safe, healthy and happy.
In our house, we can no longer say "daycare" without ears perking up and dogs running to the door. I think that is the best testimonial of all.
